Terms & Conditions – The Marriage Reset Retreat (April 2026)
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern all bookings for The Marriage Reset Retreat organised by Global Ummah Retreats (“we,” “our,” or “the organisers”). By registering and paying for the retreat, you (“the participant” or “attendee”) agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Payment
• All bookings must be made with full payment in advance.
• Booking is only confirmed once payment is received in full and acknowledged by Global Ummah Retreats.
• Prices are stated in GBP unless otherwise indicated and include only what is explicitly listed in the retreat package.
• Please wait until you receive final confirmation email before booking flights or making further arrangements.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
• 7-Day Cooling Off Period: Participants are entitled to a full refund, minus any reasonable administrative costs, if they cancel within 7 days of payment.
• After the 7-day period, all payments are non-refundable.
• Tickets are transferable to another participant up to 14 days before the retreat start date, provided the organisers are notified in writing.
3. Insurance & Personal Responsibility
• The organisers do not arrange or provide insurance. As such, participants attend the retreat at their own risk.
• By registering, participants acknowledge that the organisers will not provide medical, travel, or property insurance coverage.
• Participants are responsible for their own travel, health, and property during the retreat.
4. Programme Changes & Force Majeure
• While the organisers make every effort to deliver the advertised programme, substitutions may occur. This includes, but is not limited to: changes to the schedule, activities, listed speakers or venues.
• No refunds will be given if any of the above mentioned changes needs to occur as determined by the organisers .
• The organisers are not liable for failure to deliver parts of the programme due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, travel restrictions, or acts of God.
5. Behaviour & Code of Conduct
• This is a Shariah-compliant retreat. Participants are expected to observe Islamic manners, dress code, and appropriate gender interaction at all times. All brothers & sisters are admitted to the retreat on the understanding that they have fully complied with all Islamic rulings on gender segregation & travel. In accordance with Islamic guidelines, we expect all single sisters to travel with a mahram. However, it is not our policy to verify this, as we place our trust in our sisters and extend to them the benefit of the doubt.
• The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or in violation of Islamic guidelines. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
6. Families & Children
• The retreat is family-friendly, but parents/guardians remain fully responsible for their children at all times.
• Any childcare or children’s activities offered are supplementary; they do not replace parental supervision.
7. Health, Safety & Dietary Needs
• Participants are responsible for managing their own medical conditions and must inform organisers in advance of any dietary restrictions or health issues.
• The organisers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such needs but are not liable for any medical or dietary complications.
8. Liability
• The organisers accept no liability for:
o Personal injury, illness, or death (unless caused by proven negligence of the organisers).
o Loss, theft, or damage to property.
o Costs incurred by participants due to cancellation, delays, or disruptions beyond our control.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their passports, visas, and travel documents are valid for entry into Türkiye before they book.
9. Media & Data Consent
• By attending, participants consent to being included in photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the retreat, unless they notify organisers in writing beforehand. We will not be taking pictures/videos of any female instructors or participants.
• The organisers may use such media for future marketing and promotional purposes.
• It is strictly prohibited to take any photo / video / audio recordings of any fellow participants or instructors.
• Personal data collected during registration will be stored securely and used solely for retreat-related communication, in line with applicable data protection laws.
10. Governing Law
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Acceptance
By making payment for the retreat, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions for themselves and who they’ve booked for.
